FERNS IN THE ANCIENT PLANTS GARDEN
Recently I spent a week in San Francisco and visited the Botanical Garden where I was walking around taking pictures for hours. The weather was overcast which actually worked very well for eliminating strong shadows and also the place was less crowded.

The garden is a unique area within the Golden Gate Park, on 55 acres showcasing plants from all over the world. Worth to visit!

"FERNS IN THE ANCIENT PLANTS GARDEN"
There is so much beauty all around us in nature. It doesn’t matter where your beliefs lie about how everything came into being; nobody can deny the fact that nature offers us some of the most brilliant visuals with all that color, vibrancy and the sheer intricacies of nature’s design. I feel that one of the good things we have done well as a species is bringing some of the best specimens of different plant elements together into botanical gardens.
Now, I am someone who absolutely loves visiting botanical gardens. I make sure I visit botanical gardens and bask in the beauty of nature when the best of it all is collected into a single space. I am very lucky that I get to travel all over the world for my work and personal life, and whenever I travel to all the different places in the world, I make sure to visit local gardens wherever I get the chance to.
I feel that being a visual artist who uses the camera as one of the mediums to create art, I am able to capture the essence and the beauty of nature and all the compositions in a way that I can find the fine line between nature photography and art.
In my travels, I have been to the botanical gardens located in Chicago, Majorca, Singapore, Maui, Vacratot and the Morton Arboretum among many, many others and they have all been so inspiring. Enjoying my time in these places is good enough as it is, but being able to interpret all that beauty, capturing it and exhibiting it through the lens’ eye is truly something that brings out the best in me.

"ANCIENT PLANT GARDEN"

In my quest for immortalizing natural elements in the best manner possible, I try to frame my compositions in a way that they become harmonious. I like to use the different shapes of the leaves, the contrasts between straight lines and curvy lines in a way that they make pleasant visuals, which display just how immaculate and intricate nature can be.

I truly consider it such a gift to be able to use the camera to compose, capture and exhibit the beauty of all there is around us. I love gardening myself personally, but I do not get the time to do it as much as I would like to anymore. Being able to capture nature as art through the lens and use nature as an inspiration to make art allows me to channel my excitement about the beautiful creations of nature and compose pleasing images that are simply so intriguing to look at.

In my opinion, this series of images is where art photography and nature photography find a common ground to present the best of both visual forms of expression and I am glad that I am able to share these with you. I hope you are able to enjoy these visuals and appreciate the delicate beauty of nature’s creations around us just as much as I enjoyed bringing them to you through art photography!

Check out the "Garden Photo Album" for more interesting photographs of gardens I visited during my travels.
A space with a garden view can beautifully be complimented with a nature photograph.
