Fall SeasonFall couldn’t have gone by any faster than it did this year of 2013. But I am glad that I was fortunate enough to catch some pleasant days at Morton Arboretum. The colors of fall are tremendously gorgeous in Europe, whereas in the area of Chicago the colors follow usually a week late.

As soon as you start feeling the chills in air and the days turn colder, shrubs and tree put up a beautiful autumn show in mesmerizing shades of brown, purple, yellow, and red. There was no need to go far from where I lived to be able to walk on the carpet of these beautiful leaves. Nature always finds an amazing way to say goodbye to autumn just before the trees are about to shed the beautiful leaves that look nothing less than a painting hand painted by the master himself. All I had to do was look in front of my legs and take images from where the leaves were not moved and untouched.

I applied “Oil Paint” filter present in Photoshop to some selected images. This filter helped me smooth some small aging spots on the leaves. After making a few adjustments to saturation of images I applied a Sharpener Pro filter of Nik collection.
