Water reflections bNature is capable of exhibiting beauty that is beyond our imagination. Nature, in fact is the actual artist. Have you ever been on a treasure hunt? If not, then search for the abstract and stunning reflections that nature creates on water surfaces and you will get to know the feeling first hand. Creating ideal frames, capturing the interesting lines formed on water as it moves, and capturing the tranquil surface acting as an ideal mirror for nature is an exhilarating experience. To some, the reflection may seem ordinary, but an artist can see how the water transforms an otherwise normal object into an interesting piece of art. Even the sky looks more beautiful and enhances the exquisiteness of all sceneries.

When nature is an artist, the artist becomes the explorer. You must have heard the cliché, “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.” That stands true for an artist because if you have an eye for beauty, you can find beauty in all that you see. Having a good camera is just an added benefit. It is the job of the artist to find the ideal composition while leaving out the details that add no real value to the image. How an artist composes a shot can make all the difference to an image sometimes. I feel that enhancing the bright colors and adding contrasts add artistic depth in the images. What attracts me the most when I capture water are the color scales and abstract shapes that are graphically so strong that I can’t take my eyes off of them. Being near water and listening to the sound of it while sitting on shore always relaxes me to the core.
